The following materials are currently banned for disposal in North Carolina landfills. There are state and federal EPA Laws that all garbage companies must adhere to.
- Paint
- Ashes
- Burnt Trash
- Used motor oil or New motor oil
- Gasoline, Diesel or Kerosene fuel
- Any type of fuel or oil containers: ex. Gas cans or oil cans
- Antifreeze
- Brake Fluid
- Free Liquid Waste
- Lead-Acid Batteries: Home and Vehicle Batteries
- Aerosol Cans
- Whole scrap tires
- Appliances
- Furniture
- Mattresses
- Fluorescent Lights
- Hydrochloric Acid Vessels
- Oil filters
- Yard Trash Waste: Trees, Dirt , Compost, Fertilizer and grass.
- Electronics
- Pallets
- Oyster Shells
- Oxygen Tanks, Nitrogen tanks, Propane tanks
- Refrigerant tanks
- Bulky items
- Plate Glass
- Construction & Demolition materials. Including but not limited to:
- Concrete
- Asphalt
- Insulation
- Quick-crete2
- Porcelain
- Carpet
- Tile
- Rocks or gravel
- Roofing shingles
- Rigid plastics: ex: PVC pipes
- Metals
- Lumber
- Clay Products
- Cinder Blocks
- Bricks
- Windows
- Asbestos
- Sheet Rock

- Ceiling Tiles

Due to the above materials being banned from the landfills; we will not
be able to accept any of above items. Keep in mind some of the items
above can damage our trucks. Also, it can cause injury or worse to our
Drivers.
